The best advice we can give is this: Ask your proposed lawyer questions. Do not feel committed to retain the first lawyer you speak to. Ask other people for their views. Look around for recommendations. And most important of all: Find a lawyer you are comfortable with. Many people say that business is about relationships. That proposition applies even more so to retaining a lawyer.
